The energy of the mantras/yantra/sutta works both on people and environment. For people, using a similar concept of vibration series, the energy vibrates the physical body (each cell down to the mitochondria level), the emotional body, the energetic body, and extends higher into different dimensions as well. For the environment, the energy radiates to the surroundings of the mandala.
